Capturing Kathryn and Luke's wedding was one of my unforgettable experiences yet. I am truly thankful that they have chosen me to be part of their big day. I had a blast getting to know their parents, sister, best man, grand dad who are all just amazing and beautiful people! There was nothing but laughter throughout the day, but of course, there were teary eyed moments that I actually had to pull back my own tears as they both share their stories casually to me and when listening to their vows.

We started at Crown Towers for Kath's bridal preparation and simultaneously my other team started with Luke at QT Perth. Their wedding was held at Matilda Bay overlooking the sparkling waters of Swan River - and how exciting to capture a moment that made it more perfect was when two love birds were paddling by the river as Kath & Luke were exchanging their vows!

After the wedding vows, we had formal portraits along the Matilda Bay river banks then also explored the grounds at the University of Western Australia (UWA). I couldn't imagine the perfect time when the sun beam bathed through the golden bronze locks of Kathryn as Luke gently kisses his wife!

Then the bridal party unwind with a bit of bubbles left after Luke popped the champagne to celebrate their happy beginning. We headed back to Bayside Kitchen where family and friends have welcomed our newly weds! It was a party I surely enjoyed and again, I am truly thankful for making us part of it!

"Best day of our lives, thank you for capturing our beautiful day 💖" (via Instagram)

Kathryn and Luke were married on the 7th of March 2020 at Matilda Bay Reserve.
There was lots of love, laughter and tears among the ceremony, not only shed by the guests but even Kathryn herself.
The couple said some beautiful vows and it was very cute being able to acknowledge the love they both share for each other, and how they have impacted each other’s lives. In Luke’s case, he made a special note to mention that Kathryn changed his world for the better and taught him how to use the washing machine and tumble dryer! 🙂
